Overview

This Range Qualification session is designed for California Online CCW students who have completed the online course for  and need to complete their live‑fire qualification for Sacramento or Yolo County. It also serves individuals who need to add or modify firearms on an existing permit.

Purpose of the Event

Participants will complete the county‑specific live‑fire qualification required by their issuing authority. Each student will demonstrate safe firearm handling, accuracy, and proficiency with every firearm they intend to list on their permit.

Students attending for weapon modifications will complete the qualification for any newly added or updated firearms.

Requirements & Expectations

• Each firearm must be qualified individually.
• A proper holster is required for every firearm being used during qualification.
• Students should arrive with their firearms unloaded, properly stored, and ready for inspection.
• Safety gear (eye/ear protection) is required.

Skill Support & Training Options

If you are unsure about your shooting fundamentals or want additional preparation, we offer:

• Basic Pistol – ideal for newer shooters or those needing foundational reinforcement
• Defensive Pistol – focused on practical skills, accuracy, and confidence under time pressure Private sessions are also available for personalized coaching.

Online CCW Students

If you completed the California Online CCW Course, this range session fulfills the mandatory in‑person qualification portion required by Sacramento and Yolo County issuing agencies.
