Event Details

Title: Texas License To Carry Handgun Course (evening class)

Description: Join us for our Texas License To Carry Handgun Course, where you will learn everything you need to know to safely and responsibly carry a handgun in the state of Texas. This comprehensive course covers all the legal requirements, safety protocols, and practical skills you need to become a licensed handgun carrier. Our experienced instructors will guide you through classroom instruction (4 hrs minimum - 6 hrs maximum), and live-fire shooting proficiency test.

You will need your handgun, 50 rounds of ammunition for your handgun, eye and hearing protection (mandatory). Wear range appropriate clothing (closed neck shirts), pants and closed toes footwear. Cap with a bill (ballcap) is recommended.

Terms and Conditions

1. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to possess a handgun in the state of Texas.
2. All participants must have a valid government-issued ID for age verification.
3. Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by the instructors during the course.
4. Participants are responsible for bringing their own handgun, ammunition, eye and hearing protection, and appropriate clothing as outlined in the description.
5. Participants must pass written and  live-fire shooting proficiency test to receive their License To Carry Handgun certification.
6. Minimum caliber allowed is .22LR. have a magazine that holds at least 10 rounds or have 2 magazines.
7. Bring your handgun UNLOADED, magazines UNLOADED, in a secured range bag or gun box.
8. No reload ammunition allowed. Bring your ammunition in original factory boxes.
9. No refunds will be given for participant cancellations.  One-time re-schedule to the next class is allowed.
